The Watcher's Lullaby
Pippa's debut novel, The Watcher's Lullaby is a psychological thriller set in rural Suffolk, England.
Oak Tree Farm is shrouded in mystery about the misfortune of its earlier inhabitants.

Told through two voices, Bea, a solicitor uprooting from London to the farm, and Maud, Victorian farming tenant wife, this is a twist on a classic haunted house story, interlaced with themes of motherhood and mental health.
Death and Other Desserts
Pink wafer. Flapjack. Trifle. Food of childhood. Links to transport Beth Campbell back to her past.

Estranged wife and 58-year-old Shoreditch café owner, Beth, has a dry, observational humour that helps her survive most of life’s curve balls but does little to prepare her for the sudden death of her mother.

As grief and her mother's scrap books take Beth on a poignant journey, each chapter a recipe from her past, she has the chance to re-evaluate ties with the people she loves, understand the person she has lost, and find solutions to managing her life and family.

"Really well developed characters and brilliantly intertwined storylines from the 1800s to modern day. Couldn’t put it down once I started it""

Unforgettable Journeys
"I loved the well developed characters and haunting setting of the book. It mesmerised me from the beginning and I could barely put it down until I'd reached the end of the story! Engaging, emotional and gripping throughout."

"I love the way the author moves effortlessly from Bea to Maud, covering many years and two distinct personalities, each experiencing motherhood in all its forms, from pregnancy, to birth, childcare and relationships...This is the kind of book that would work well at book clubs because it's not only a rattling good read, but a story that will elicit discussion and leave the readers thinking long after it's over. A stunning first novel."
